The volume control works poorly, either it is too low and cannot hear or too loud, blasting and cannot listen to. Reception is extremely poor. If I still had the box I would have returned it. Lesson: You get what you pay for !!!

I needed a small AM-FM CD player for use on a kitchen shelf.
This RCA model RP5605 was perfect. I had first seen it at Wal-Mart, but they discontinued carrying the model so I came to Amazon!
This is a perfect size, cute & compact, & the clock, CD and AM-FM work perfectly, and the digital read-out is clear.
It definitely beats a big ugly ‘boom box,’ and I had no use for a device with an iPod docking station.
So-o-o, when I saw this RCA RP5605 AM/FM CD Clock Radio with Large LED Display, it seemed like it was custom-made for my needs… and it is! Great choice!

Clock display is on an angle and not bold
Station selector is small,changing stations is difficult

I’m pleased so far. I was looking for a compact radio/cd for my grandkids room. This one fits the bill and price comparative to area stores.
